Member of several groups in the 80’s & the 90’s (Begin Says, Zig Rag Orchestra …), Laurent Saïet founded Trace label in 1994 with Patrick Müller and Guillaume Loizillon on which he released 8 solo albums and one DVD. His work is based essentially on the relationship between music and cinema. In parallel, Laurent Saïet has composed for the films of Frédéric Cousseau, Stéphane Olijnyk, Justine Gasquet, Blaise D’Haese & Tamara Laï. He also founded the “Endlesston” trio with Ben Ritter and Sylvain Bélot.
"This collection of recordings made between 2000-2019, have a curious cohesive charm. It`s feels like a sonic movie (but yes, a lot of this pieces were made for movies). You have carefully orchestated music here, that really can touch your emotions without excesive dramatism, but also sounds that stroke your body with psychadelic textures. Also some jazzy sax and atmospheric synths gives flow and organic dynamism to the more "composed" tracks. Multidimensional music, non-generic and very well krafted." (Michel Leroy Valdes)
